Anatole's blips

Winter on the mires

The flat land between the hills and the river is marshland. During the summer it is an impassable saturated mire. A haven for birds and alive with insects. During the winter it looks a bit different. The track along the right was made by an otter in the last day or two (see extra for a better view). They like to slide and paddle in the snow on downslopes.
