Cactus Day 2 :: MMC20

MMC20 #28

Another day down at The World Garden, Lullingstone Castle. Too cold and wet to work on the totem pole so the top half has come home with me.

Whilst Tom and the volunteers were out in the garden getting wet I sort more mono cactus shots in the dry. I want to explore the shapes, textures and detail of these prickly plants.

This main Blip is the detail of the Agave titanota, 'Shark Teeth Century Plant' a native of Oaxaca, Mexico. I'm fascinated by the raised patterns on each leaf as it unfolds. I've added two extras of other cacti that took my fancy.
