Lower Orchard and Marsh

Today’s picture has been taken to record the level of flooding at the bottom of our orchard and across the marsh. It is a very long time since I have seen the marsh flooded as much as this. It continues behind the bushes at the right-hand side and just about reaches the road. However, it is the floodplain of the River Cam which runs the other side of the railway line. There is no risk of flooding to our home. The sky really was that colour.

A day spent doing craftwork, some granny squares and some of my temperature blanket.

The temperature today at GMT was eight degrees Celsius, with some sunshine, but overcast at times.
