Lasswade 10

In a moment of weakness a few weeks ago, I was persuaded to enter today's Lasswade 10 Road Race - not only is it a much more challenging course than I'm generally used to, but chuck in today's weather and you'll have a flavour of why I was feeling slightly wary when I set out earlier this morning ;-)

But - am pleased to say, despite the conditions, I had a great day and was delighted to finish only just over my target time!

Massive thanks are due to all the 'Marshalls/Volunteers', who cheerfully braved the pretty awful weather and were hugely encouraging, to all the runners, the whole way round the route. It was very much appreciated.
