Saunton Sands

Mixed bag with the weather again today. Went out this morning and decided to head up the coast line, Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe. There are one or two little laybys on the way to Croyde where one can pull in, and look over to Saunton Sands. According to the news there has been a film crew there this last week, producing a war film. All to do with the second world war. The dunes of course were used as a rehearsal area for the D-Day landings.

From there I continued through flooded roads to Croyde, and then up to Woolacombe before heading home for lunch.

Sue dropped in this afternoon, had a cuppa while we watched a couple of U tube  videos on triptychs. Sue knows how to do them, but I want to learn.

Hope you have all had a good weekend, and if it not too late Happy St.Davids day to my Welsh blipper friends :-)
