Amaryllis

This one is a 'quad'. Blooming in our front yard, after being covered for our brief 'cold' spell last week. I LOVE Amaryllis! Their bright colors and joyful blooming style delights me no end! Later, I'll transfer pollen from the anthers of one flower to the stigma of another, helping with the pollination process, in hope that the formation of seeds will be the result. We're fortunate to have many little buzzing pollinators around but it doesn't hurt to help out Mother, occasionally!
