End of the holiday

We spent a nice morning catching up with family friends in Windsor. Soon enough we were sat on the plane waiting to head back to Edinburgh. We were sat on it for an hour and a half before we actually took off. Storm Dennis (?) causing havoc. The journey was a little bumpy and it's always concerning when they remind you to reread the safety information before landing.

We took our time getting to baggage reclaim because there was no hurry. We were a little concerned when there was a big crowd of people and only a couple of bags going round. A staff member was speaking to people and they were going and joining the "where's my bag" queue.

One of our bags arrived. The other didn't. They turned the carousel off and we joined the back of the queue to report our other bag. By the time we reached the window we had already learned that they couldn't out all the baggage on the plane because the wind was too strong for them to have the doors open. We'd already identified our bag features on the chart and had all our information ready. Bags would be on a following flight and would be delivered to us tomorrow.
