Svallbard, Norway Day 7

Time for our holiday to come to an end and for us to leave Svalbard.  It was a very relaxed process leaving.  We told the hotel which flight we were on, and they told us when we would be picked up to take us there.  Departures and the gate were one and the same and security a straight forward, unrushed process.  It was lovely to get a view of the extent of the town as we took off and once again, seeing glaciers and the pack ice took my breath away.

Oslo yet again was a nightmare of delays and additional security checks.  Our lost bottle of Irn Bru on the way here was put in to perspective when one poor gentleman had opened his duty free bag and couldn't provide a reciept for his very fancy single malt!

Eventually back to Heathrow and another evening in Windsor before heading up to Edinburgh.
