The only places in the house where Mouse is not allowed are the food preparation areas.

This means that we are quickly running out of food preparation areas. If Mouse is sitting there it is obviously not a food preparation area.

We have gone from having a reasonably large amount of work-surface, to basically having the corner by the microwave.

Mouse particularly likes this bit of the kitchen because it is directly above her food bowl, and she can watch any of her food being prepared in the area.
