Ullswater

My last day up in The Lakes with Sal. I popped out early doors to Ullswater with my camera and on the way called in Penrith to get some anti-freeze for the draining down of my caravan.

The water was still too high to get down to the Lakeshore so I took this from a lay-by. I was helped by the ripples of a steamer heading up to Pooley Bridge.

I had a coffee in the coffee shop of the Glenridding Hotel before heading back to pick Sal up. We returned to Glenridding later in the day and had another coffee and a final stroll by the lake.

The three days away did the pair of us good.
