Abstract Thursday

There's no theme today for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge as it's the first Thursday of the month.

I took a shot of some Pussy Willow catkins this morning by Killingworth Lake and put the photo through the "Expressionist" filter in the Artistry app. A few further tweaks in Photoshop & Lightroom and this was the outcome. I rather like the chaotic background produced by the mass of criss-crossing twigs and branches in the background with the blue sky showing through.
