Chinese Ceramic and Chinese Screen

After the disturbing post from yesterday, I decided something less disturbing might be in order.

Next to the Dancing Diva is this contemporary Chinese ceramic. It is a contemporary piece and how it arrived here is ”beyond my ken".

The desk top was damaged by the California Sun. When opened up the interior surface are similar in finish to those of a Steinway Grand Piano.
