In The Margins

As the lake begins to defrost, exposed rocks emerge and cracks develop in the ice. In the margin from winter to spring, on the margin between land and water, the most interesting discoveries can be made. Things revealed and part concealed are the mystery in life.

I found the shapes and textures in the ice fascinating and tried to explore the relationship between solid rock and the impermanence of ice.

Another benefit of blipping occurs to me: without these few words I might not later remember my intent when making this image. Reflecting leads to ideas that could form themes and projects. I should start  list!
