Wind Patterns

Overnight a low of -9F with wind chills of -30F, today was always going to be a long underwear and heated gloves day, only rising to 6F. It was deceptively clear and sunny wandering around and difficult walking as the snow gave way unexpectedly.

I got excited about these patterns created by the blowing snow, but how to capture them effectively was a challenge. Getting low exaggerated the foreground shapes and provided a leading line. I wish there were a mountain for the background, but no chance around here!
