Along the way

A very wet night but thankfully it seemed to have rained itself out by morning so the day dawned cloudy but dry. Another busy day with large groups of people being dropped off by water taxis for day walks, could have done with some traffic lights at one of the long bridges. By 3 o’clock or so it seemed to calm down and I found myself walking through serene pathways where the forests grew ever more enchanting and the bays ever more dramatic, hinting at the colours they would be under a sunny sky.
Campsite was an improvement, it had grass, cooking shelter, more sinks than you could think what to do with, flushing toilets and drinking water.
Tonight’s menu was beef teriyaki which was pretty good but barely touched the sides, peanut butter bars to the rescue.
