Gallic

The day after.

I have been tough on myself. I have relaxed, pretty much all day. Lazy. That kind of stuff. I was needing it.

The big exception was going out in the morning to get an international driving permit. But, I managed to turn that into fun too... banter with the photographer (who insisted I put on my grumpy-old-man face) and the Post Office man who issued the licence.

I usually research my holiday trips quite carefully. For Tunisia, the car rental company advises my UK licence is enough. Official websites indicate an IDP is needed. The French guidebook - very Gallic - suggests an IDP is "better".

Anyway, around 5pm I headed for the cocktail cabinet and fridge.
