Nisha's First Time In The Garden
Since Nisha has had all her injections, she can now be allowed out. I wanted to make sure that she didn't just run off and so we got her a little harness and a lead.
She had been sitting at the terrace doors and chirping and mieping at all the birds on the garden.
She was, it would be fair to say, a little spooked by the experience. Normally her tail is up (and it looks a bit like a question mark), and she doesn't crouch low like this. And when one of the neighbours appeared in their garden, that was it, Nisha wanted back inside.
So we'll go slowly. We can use the harness and let her get used to the garden. And when she starts being a little more curious, we can let her run free.
And news from the Panic Buying/Hamsterkauf front. Another supermarket visit today - the car park was fuller than it is at Xmas - and there was no toilet roll to be had. And rice and pasta were also almost gone - one packet of wholemeal spaghetti and a couple of bags of brown rice. Panic buying is a (very stupid) Thing.
