Miller's Falls

A beautiful winter's day. Lovely los winter sun , blue cloudless skies so we headed for the hills.

First it was off up Brenchoille moor where the hilltops were covered in snow and the light across the moor was golden. several blipstops there then on to the Miller's Falls
Another undignified scramble down the banks below the falls, tripod set up , ND filter on then I had some fun trying different shutter speeds to get all the available light around the flls without catching any highlights / burn out in the water. Frozen hands , muddy boots and tripod needingcleaned as well, I headed back home with yet another stop at the historic bridge built in the late 1800s where I got more blips, this time big landscapes with sno topped mountains.
However despite all these blips and some late blips of the sunset on the shore, i had to go for the waterfall blip, simply because I as quite chuffed with the final result as abig part of my learning curve.

Large might be worth a look

Hope you all had a good day and kept safe if you are in the areas where the snow is particularly heavy.
