Ready for action

The green bike is an electric one that you can hire, just one of several bike hires around the city. You see them everywhere in central London – not so much down in south-east London, though you see the odd repurposed 'Boris bike'.

Worked late and caught the train back from Waterloo, which was a bit of a scrum through the waiting hall. I only catch a train when I've missed all the express buses – I really try not to miss the express bus!
