The Historic Rivermill.

Today we went to The Historic Rivermill.

It was a lovely day, not too hot.  We arrived, fairly early, before too many people got there.

We fed the alpacas and the deer.  Checked out the pig and the chickens.  Fed the turtles, which Peter really enjoyed.  And patted twin baby lambs.  There were also two border collies and a weird looking cross breed Yorkshire Terrier to pat as well.

Had a wander by the river, which had little waterfalls.  (If you look at the trees behind the girls, they are all bent to the right.  That is how high the river was a few weeks ago.  There were also weeds and old palm fronds, in trees higher up too.  Scary!!)

But the best thing of all was the pony ride.  Both girls loved it, especially Mia, who had a little smile on her face the whole time.  (Made me think of my Mum, who always loved horses.)

We all had a lovely time.

Isabella would've taken home the little dog if she could.  And Mia the pig!

I think we will be going back again.
