Blooming bottlebrush

Met up with friend Juhi after aaaaages in the Plaza this morning. I haven’t seen her since October, can’t believe it.

She’s grounded at the moment as Cathay have asked all staff to take 3 weeks unpaid leave. So I guess we’ll have more opportunities to catch up :).

As we walked back to the Plaza, I spotted this gorgeous bottlebrush tree blooming beautifully. A lovely deep red.

Martin had cooked up a storm when I got home. We had a family canasta later in the afternoon, which is always good fun.

Finished off the evening watching the latest Jumaniji, Ben’s choice.
