Checking out Shenzhen

As they weather has been rainy and dreary, we decided that more indoor activities were required.

So we went up to Shenzhen, China!  The wait at the border was longer than we expected but we got there in the end and treated ourselves to this fine, probably the best, Peking Duck meal I've had there.  Metsy &  Ian are getting really adept with chopsticks and ate most of their meal with them! I was super impressed.

We then had a good wander round and purchases were made and clothes ordered :).  Ian is rather tall and the idea of a bespoke jacket being made especially to his size was most appealing.

They really enjoyed their trip up there, even if just to a mall, which is such a relief.

I am now catching up on all my blips over the last week.  Sorry for the lack of commenting!
