The landmark £842 million Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow encompasses novel features such as the colourful cantilevered ‘pods’ (in the picture) in the naturally lit atrium, a bespoke patient and visitor sanctuary, a landscaped roof-top children’s play area and integrated artwork.
