A little Toledo collage

Woke to another day of blue sky so we took ourselves off to the bus stop to head into the centre of Toledo. It’s a very hilly city with lots of ancient cobbled streets - some narrower than others but all apparently open to traffic!

We spent a lovely few hours wandering around the streets and visited the Cathedral and the museum of textiles and ceramics. We had a very happy half an hour in the Museum of Manchego cheese where we tasted 5 different types of cheese - a bargain at €4 each as that included a glass of wine!

Ate lunch (menu del dia) in a lovely little restaurant behind the cathedral and was still full at 8 so just had a tuna salad for dinner.

Thanks so much for comments and stars and the lovely sprinkling of favourites recently.

PS the very dark pic in the collage is if flies in the cathedral cloisters dancing in the sun.
