To Carve Wood

Lent verse is Exodus 35v31-32:

He’s filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and know-how for making all sorts of things, to design and work in gold, silver, and bronze; to carve stones and set them; to carve wood, working in every kind of skilled craft.

Have always found it significant that the first time anyone in the Bible is filled with God's Spirit, it wasn't to do anything "spiritual", but to be a good craftsman, albeit it was to work on their tent church.

As I walked into town, wondering what I could photograph, met the folk who are working on restoring the altar of the main church in the castle, and thought how appropriate. So asked the woman in charge if I could go have a look in the afternoon. Didn't want to get in the way, but managed a photo of the woodworker.

Gratefuls:
- two beauty-filled walks, the flowers are amazing at the moment - whole fields of pink and purple
- Mike agreeing to catch the full moonrise at Monsaraz - see extra, so hard to choose just one
- Ermelinda doing a whole day back at work, and coping fine
