Orchid

Today’s picture is of one of my flowering orchid plants, which sits on my shower room windowsill. Before Christmas I purchased six orchids that were £2.50 each and on their last legs. They were in various stages of flowering or decay. This one has now flowered again; another one also has a new stem with buds on it.

The temperature today at GMT was fourteen degrees Celsius; it did not feel that warm as it is quite windy.
