Edinburgh Castle

We went to the Tyrannosaurs exhibition at the museum today. I have to say it was a bit of a let-down and I don’t feel I learnt anything really. There were a number of casts of skeletons, but nothing much about how they were made and how the original fossils were extracted and preserved. There were a number of gimmicky displays, but overall not much to see. As we are members of the museum it cost us nothing, but at £20 for 2 concessions I would have been severely fed up with so little for the money. We went up to the roof afterwards to see the view and the blip is the castle from the terrace at the top of the museum.
