Chaffinch

I hope this little chap is okay as she has spent some time hopping around the pots on the patio.  I have left her a pile of seeds and fat bits so fingers crossed.  She looks quite young to me but it seems too early in the year??

I've bottomed the bedroom today, that took some doing!

Positive News
It has to be three more people/organisations from the Hope 100 list, today from the Environment Section.
At no. 51 I have to include the Rotterdam company Blue Roof who literally fish used sanitary products out of the sewers, clean them, shred them, compress them and turn them in to green roofs!!  They are one of the start ups housed in an abandoned Centre Parcs building in the City, which is striving to eliminate waste by 2050.
No 52 is Greta Thunberg, a young woman who needs no introduction.  She recently turned down a prestigious environmental award claiming, 'the climate movement does not need any more awards.' 
No 58 is the Ocean Cleanup Foundation, started by Dutch inventor Boyan Slat who has developed an autonomous system to filter plastic from the sea.
