Blackbird

This male was foraging on a rather flooded lawn, and I like the reflection. I had a good walk in Deerness in the sunshine. Loads of pink-footed geese about, 300-400 I'd say. Lots of greylags too. Three redwings would be heading north, like the pinkies. I saw 8 brown hares but all at a distance and they didn't seem to be boxing. They are hard to approach here because there are few walls and hedgerows to use as cover. On the cliffs of Mull Head I saw a raven and then its mate on a nest (extra).
