If you can't beat them...

Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)

A full day ahead of me so during my "just in case" session I was practicing my birds in flight shots.   I am really looking forward to the rainy season being over (current seems start on 1st Jan and continue until the week after Christmas) then there may be enough light for less noisy images.  It looks also as if I need faster shutter speed then 1/1250 as there is still movement in the wings.

The Goldfinch is another species with no conservation concern having a population of 3,400,00 pairs.  This one was disputing perches with the recently returned Siskins so was almost hovering below the feeder.
