Muscari paradoxum aka Bellevalia pycnantha

A busy productive morning up on the plot this morning. We started at cutting trees and laying the hedge at 10am ..2pm we finished. We worked together brilliantly. Bruce is such a nice bloke, a nice bloke with a Stihl chainsaw. We roped a few of the bigger trunks to guide them. No damage done to bodies, or garden sheds. It certainly made light work after me previously sawing away with a rusty old bow saw that belonged to Dad. A brief coffee stop. I took a flask of black coffee, a mini empty wine bottle of milk, sugar & spoon already up the shed. I only had 1 mug. A quick swill out of a recycled coffee jar made a good substitute.  A lovely Duster boot full of logs, blackthorn & field maple, for Bruce to take away, & store until seasoned for his wood burner, and me a very happy bunny with just a bit of tweaking to do tomorrow morning. We finished just as it started to spit with rain. Perfect timing!

We're off out for the Friday night special at The Phoenix pub in Chudleigh tonight. They make really good fish & chips. 2 meals plus a drink each (wine, beer,CIDER, or soft drink) £20. A little treat.

Thanks to Anni/BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday
