It’s a Long Story

So we took an Uber to the Port Authority Bus Station to take a bus to Manalapan NJ for the family gathering and Bat Mitza. Really nice folks, especially a fellow named David (We called him Prince David because he walked us through getting tickets, helped us with our big clumsy bags, and walked with us to our gate before saying goodbye and heading back where we started.) who helped us. As we sat waiting for the departure time Shelly got a call. The Bat Mitzva was cancelled. So we spent over an hour and a half calling and changing reservations. We bought another set of bus tickets, rode to Newark Airport, to another bus and a taxi and finally ended up at a hotel for the night. Tomorrow morning we take off at 9:00 am and fly home. We are ready. The photo is Shelly at the hotel cafe where we ate either a very late lunch or a very early dinner. Turned into a very long weird day with some fine people helping us along the way.
