"The Guild" in Dumfries is an organisation committed to regenerating the town centre and providing a creative community space. As part of this, they launched a monthly Market Festival today, with produce stalls and a programme of live music (including my own Samba Sisters, who kicked it all off with a 20 minute set at 10am).

I'm glad that we were there to support this valiant effort, as it had to overcome the twin obstacles of virus fear and wet weather. We enjoyed our set and I hope that the audience did, too.

The flower displays in the town centre always look wonderful :-)
