Day 074/20. Cotton-Top Tamarin

A morning visit to Marwell today. Not many animals about, which was not surprising given the drizzle and wet weather.
There were a surprising number of visitors there.... perhaps it is thought that a zoo, very much out in the open air, is a safe place to visit during the current issues.
This little chap played well for me today, posing for a portrait. It's a Cotton-Top Tamarin, found only in north-western Colombia. They live in a variety of primary forests (which haven’t been logged or managed by people) as well as secondary forests (which have been disturbed), including humid forest and dry deciduous forest. They are critically endangered.
