Day 075/20. Choo Choo.....

The signalbox at New Alresford on the Watercress Line, a heritage steam and diesel railway in Hampshire.
The line provided an alternative route between London and Southampton and, besides transporting locally produced watercress, was particularly important for military traffic between the army town of Aldershot and the military embarkation port at Southampton. It was orginally closed in 1973. Then partly re-opened as the Watercress line in 1983.
The signalbox at New Alresford has been spectacularly and lovingly restored and is fully operational. See extra image for detail.
