A Bird in the Hand...

I'm grateful that I took a few photos of birds at our feeders earlier today, including this cheery Spotted Towhee, because all the photos I took at Lake Padden later this afternoon have vanished. Gone. Nothing on the camera's memory card.

This has never happened to me before. Perhaps the coronavirus is to blame...

Despite the mysterious disappearance of the photos, it was pleasant to be out in the sunshine with Phil, enjoying the new signs of spring and chatting at the approved distance with several friends we saw there. I'll try again in the next couple of days.
