Man at work

No sign of any men at work, though. Men from the water board in and out of the former Barclays Bank building on Wooler High Street, and lots of lorries coming and going all day - we suspect the road outside the building was cordoned off to allow for ease of parking and delivery of materials. The top of the building is being converted in to "affordable" flats.

Very little traffic and few people out and about - social distancing is being taken seriously here. I ventured out only briefly, to fetch my medication and to buy a couple of essentials.
