Speechless, Perhaps Not

A day of sunshine and not so sunny moments.

As far as I'm concerned a lockdown in the UK can't come soon enough.  Too many people thinking that the virus won't affect them so they are happy to do what they want.  I watched a Shearings coach pull into the Ledaig carpark and dispense a lot of what looked like some of the UK's most vulnerable people re the covid-19 virus is concerned.  What are they thinking?!  Have Shearings been paid to facilitate the culling of people who might put a drain on an already very stretched NHS by Westminster?  Someone 'joked' that maybe they were on a shopping trip because mainland shops have been so stripped bare.  Well good luck with that as shelves are definitely looking barer in the Co-op too.  As for some on fb either encouraging people to still come to Mull (and elsewhere) or saying they are coming on their holidays whatever .... I'm speechless.  Which bit of no unnecessary travel is not clear enough?  This island has a small hospital with 3 beds and limited staff and resources.  Please, please, please stop unnecessary travelling.

Oh - and in case it helps, I've spent some time today cancelling bookings.  It's going to be one tough season but it had to be done.

I am sorry if this is blunt but I don't know what else to say.
