Blue Line - Thin or Not So?

Boris is still using phrases get this thing done, turn the tide and such like, and asking people to behave responsibly - convincing?  Hmmmm .....

A day spent swinging between being on the verge of tears and moments of positivity.  An example of the latter is that Mull is forming a group similar to the Covid19 Mutual Aids groups that started just a few days ago in London and have spread at an amazing speed across the country.  And tomorrow I am doing a morning shift to help make sure people get what they need.  It feels slightly better to be actually doing something.  If there isn't one in your area why not start one up?  It can be very small and you can be involved even if you are unable to go out (the woman doing a great job organising the logistics of ours is in the vulnerable category and is working from home using email and WhatsApp to get people helping where it is needed).  And the other positive news was that Calmac have stopped taking advance bookings which hopefully will make people either trying to travel to the islands or making unnecessary trips from the islands to the mainland, think twice.

And just a thought - if anyone's blip includes a useful link to any aspect of life during this pandemic how about tagging it covid19help.  Or something else if anyone has a catchier phrase.  That way it builds another resource to dip into for useful information, learning links, entertainment to pass the self-isolation hours.
