Every corona cloud...

Like the rest of the nation, I feel like it's been a blur of a day. Constantly figuring out what life is going to look like going forward along with the worry for friends and family who are vulnerable.

At Breakfast Club at the Academy I felt like the staff were more flappy than the young people and obviously there was lots of talk about not if, but when the schools were going to close.

We've spent the morning putting together some Self Care packs to give out to some of our young people, filled with things to entertain and encourage them over the next few weeks and months.

This afternoon we had the massive privilege of filming with Shrewsbury Town Football Club's Omar Beckles. He was originally going to be filming some content that we could use in our Easter assemblies but instead we filmed a load of short films to put out on Social Media over the next weeks and months as young people are at home. Such a great guy. Full of fun and wisdom which we hope will be helpful for young people.

And then the announcement about schools. We want so badly to be able help and support vulnerable families but it's so hard to know how to do this safely and wisely at the moment.
