Wide Wednesday - Historical

I hope the iconic Loch Lomond is historic enough for this week's challenge.

Minty and I didn't meet another soul on our afternoon walk along the 'bonny banks' muddy lochside path, but we did see three foolish brave young men having an impromptu dip in the loch. You can maybe tell that it was very chilly!

Rather them than me, although I admit sending The Mintster into the water after a stick, which did the trick of washing the worst of the mud off his undercarriage. He didn't seem to mind, bless him.
