The Scream

Abstract Thursday's theme is Patterns. These are the patterns in one of the rounds of a huge tree that was cut down recently and that I blipped in my other journal. The mailman was at the mailboxes beside the tree, and he said that he'd talked to the crew that were cutting down the tree. One told him that he thought it had been hit by lightning. When I uploaded this and saw "the scream", I thought that maybe the tree had screamed when it was hit. I also thought that the effects of the coronavirus might have some people on the verge of screaming.
