FF - Crocus

We used to have lots of deep yellow crocus and a couple of years ago they were really doing well and had increased their footprint by a lot.  Last year we had less, and this year none at all and I can only think that the squirrels have dug them up;  I know birds prefer the yellow ones so perhaps the squirrels do too.
