The Corona Diaries, day #5

Friday!
Hooray!
It may make no difference to people who've been holed up and off work all week, but I've been holed up AND working all week so I'm kinda glad of a bit of a breather!
It's all been a bit full-on all round.
December and January were very quiet workwise, 2019 was full of ups and downs (Brexit related? Who knows? Hey, who remembers the "good" old days of Brexit?) and then suddenly things got busy this month.
And then all of this frightening virus business and now everyone's here at home and I've still got all this work  to do!
My head hurts... but I've managed to deliver everything that was due this week so now it's time to breathe and we'll see about next week next week.

On the confinement front... we're still confined and that's not set to change anytime soon. Contrary to what the picture might suggest, Gaël's not been laid up all day and has been busy clearing up the garden and cutting hedges. The garden's never been this neat this early in the season and I"ve never heard as many mowers and hedge trimmers all on the go at once! We're all in this together, all cutting our hedges at the same time. 2020 ... the year of the neatest gardens ever.
