Along The Sturt Highway...

Not just around the corner this time. Another trip to a specialist and I just couldn't resist this lovely scene with the stubble left after harvesting and the big round bales of hay and the square haystacks - not shown here.

This was taken on the way to Adelaide, with the hills in the background, it was cooler today 25 degreesC. (Much better than yesterday when the car battery went flat and it was 42degreesC. I thought I'd die right there waiting an hour for service. The wheelchair did come in handy then for sure, to get out of the car into the shade . Not an old battery either I might add, heavy duty too..)
How different farming is now. My Dad would have been in his element in these paddocks with the latest machinery.
This shot was taken not too far from Adelaide, out of Truro, at the Ngadjuri Rest Area, very interesting flintstone rocks there, used by the early indigenous people.
