Peas in a Pod

Hot off the knitting needles,
peas in a pod,
green peas, giant peas,
looking rather odd.

Smiling and giggling,
peas in a pod -
take them out for juggling,
a happy, hoppy squad.

Finished knitting this baby toy* this evening, just in time to photograph it for the Silly Saturday challenge (thank you, Admirer). I think Little Miss B will enjoy playing with it. It'll complement her enjoyment of a broadcast she watches on TV sometimes of fruit and veggies dancing to music. (And when her uncle visits - Master Pugglesworth's papa - she'll enjoy watching him if he juggles with the peas.) Of course, that will be many months away, sadly. And instead of presenting this toy by hand, I shall have to put it in the post.

As well as completing this little knitting project today, I also cleaned ONE window, inside and out - the bird-watching window, as usual. It had reached the stage where my camera would only focus on the muck on the glass. It'll probably be just as dirty again by the morning if this gale continues. The sea's had huge white rollers across it today, visible clearly even from our garden.

Today, I also planted courgette seeds, to go with yesterday's sowings of carrot, spinach and beetroot seeds.
