Mothers' Day 2 - Freesia

This is another flower from my lovely Mothers' Day bouquet. I've had to put the blip up unedited. RAW images always need a bit of tweaking as nothing is done to them in the camera as with Jpegs. I was having trouble with my Adobe so have just used another program to do a Save As Jpeg.

A day when we heard of the death of Country legend, Kenny Rodgers, at 81.

A day when we had to finally make the decision not to go on our canal holiday on Friday. It seemed at first the ideal holiday in the circumstances - 3 people on a boat, self-catering with only an occasional stop to get to a shop for food. Quiet time of year: perfect!

No! The complications of one of us going down with coronavirus badly and being hospitalised in Stafford were too great to risk. We are all in an At Risk state but this would have been dreadful for one of us already in the care of a chest consultant. Added to that, the government could, at a moments notice, say no travel. No, we will stay at home, self-isolating and social distancing, and feel relaxed about our choice now the decision has been made.

Social distancing Day 7. Good thing today: listening to the beautiful voice of Kenny Rodgers.
