Autumn but Not Autumn

...caught my eye at my desk as it lit up our neighbor's oak tree and a strip of grass.  It was gray all day.  Lately, just before sunset the sun comes out.  Better than not at all.

And the Thanksgiving/Christmas cactus has a bloom today. 

I didn't see a single person outside today, not even the usual dog walkers.  Only a few cars drove past the house.
