One daze at a time...

Social distancing with the pros

' Halt! Stop! Don't come any closer, keep a minimum separation of two meters at all times. Not one, but two meters. And keep your shaggin droplets to yerselves!'

Went for a long walk in Deansgrange cemetery. Most pleasant it was. None of that overcrowding that characterises the piers (both west and east), when the sun shines and people go nuts after a little over a week of isolation. The car parks at the start of the trails in the Dublin Mountains were equally mobbed, or so I'm told. There was anarchy in Glendalough. It's been Glendalocked down for good now because it attracted too many people who suddenly didn't know what to do with themselves when there is no option to roam the shopping centres to buy shite they do not need.

So I went for a loooong walk in Deansgrange cemetery. The population here is exemplary. No sneezer, no coughing, no hugging, no kissing, no crying, no spluttering. They may not all respect the two meter separation, but other than that they are a very disciplined crowd.
