Journeyman

Every Picture Tells A Story

Today we were supposed to be going to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides to open up our Croft for the up and coming spring/summer.

Yesterday afternoon The Scottish Government instructed Caledonian MacBrayne, only to allow residents of the island and essential passengers to travel, due to the amount of tourists jumping on the ferry, thinking they can outrun the coronavirus.

Tourists currently on the island are to be shipped back to the mainland. Our trip was not essential, saved us a long trip to the ferry terminal at Ullapool.

I passed a very quiet Glasgow Airport this afternoon, it was strange to see all the planes parked up. This was only British Airways just out of shot Virgin planes were also stacked neatly in line.

"Oh, Oh big ol' jet airliner, don't carry me too far away
Oh, Oh big ol' jet airliner, cause it's here that I've got to stay"...
